My journey across continents – from Argentina to Italy, and finally to the United States – has shaped my approach to therapy, one that embraces cultural richness, personal growth, and the pursuit of an authentic self.

A Global Perspective on Mental Health

Growing up in Argentina, living in Italy, and finally settling in the U.S. has given me a unique perspective on mental health. I’ve seen how cultural backgrounds influence our understanding of wellbeing and how diverse experiences can shape our approach to life’s challenges. In this blog, I aim to share insights that resonate across cultures and individual experiences.

From Economics to Psychology

My professional journey didn’t start in psychology. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in Economics and Public Management from Università Bocconi (Milan, Italy), I spent time in multinational companies. However, I felt a deeper calling towards understanding the human mind and helping others find their path. This led me to pursue psychology, culminating in a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from American University in Washington, DC.

The Whole Mind Therapy Approach

At Whole Mind Therapy, we don’t just address symptoms; we explore the root causes of mental health issues. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and other evidence-based practices, we aim to empower individuals and couples to overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. It’s about learning, healing, and growing into your most authentic self.
